Searching for a one-of-a-kind patchwork purse for yourself or as a nice gift for someone special who loves Strawberry Shortcake print? This beautiful and unique purse just might be the one!

I made this purse using several fabrics sewn together. The print and colors compliment each other and create nice shades of pinks and red. The other side of bag has a print of ballet shoes on a glitter fabric.

The highlight on the bag is the beige trim sewn on the fabric patch and rows of button sewn diagonally on one of the patch as shown on the fifth image. I also embellished the top with a pleated pink fabric. You can see it on the sixth images.

For the lining I used a solid white quitled fabric.

Prepare for the heads that will turn when you carry this gorgeous purse!

Measurements and Features:

  • 14" Wide (across the top) X 10.5" High X 3" Deep.
  • The straps are 1" wide by 22" long end-to-end. The straps are fully quilted.
  • High quality brass colored magnetic snap fastener for top closure.
  • One lined inside pocket.
  • Batting is used to shape the body of the outside shell as well as the lining.
  • Reinforced stitches on the upper bag.
  • "PaulJulia Designs™" label. Handmade in the USA.

Care Instructions:

  • Dry clean recommended. Also high pressure air can occasionally be used to clean (if available at your dry cleaning center).
  • Iron if necessary.

This patchwork purse is one of my latest creations. Like my other bags it is uniquely handcrafted one at a time in a smoke and pet-free environment.
